Is it time to creatively mix it up?

When I am feeling creatively uninspired it is often because I have been doing the same thing for too long without any variation. Capitalism encourages us to get very narrow in our interests and social media loves a tight niche. But creativity doesn't love to be told what to do. And the more we strive to be good, the less fun it all seems to become.

Falling Gently is a place to engage in joy again; to lay out magazine on the floor and cut out words, to pick up a medium you're not very good with and simply …play.

Weekly emails will include ways to connect to your inner creative self through ritual, poetry, visual art, and reflection.

We will take walks and pay attention to the natural world as it moves from summer to fall, and in doing so, I hope you will remember the simple pleasure of creation for creation's sake.  

The deets

We will begin on the autumnal equinox, Sept 22nd and go through Halloween, Oct 31st!

Each week I will send an email with simple rituals you can do, bits of poetry, journaling & visual art prompts, and of course some spiritual and personal growth bits thrown in for good measure (*hums the tune of "these are a few of my favorite things"). 

We will also have two live Zoom calls to connect, write, and share together. The first will be on Sunday, Sept 22nd at 8-9:30pm EST (Eastern time USA). And the other will be on Sunday, Oct 27th at 8-9:30pm EST.

This is my 5th season leading this program which combines my vocation of spiritual direction with creative practices in the hopes that you may come away feeling more connected to your inner self (and with a community of likeminded, radical, authentic creatives.)

All are welcome, novice to professional. 

All you have to do is become a paid subscriber to Earth & Verse - if you already are, then you’re already in!

Usually I charge a whole lot more for it ($175), but I really want to invest in this new platform and meet new people! If you love fall, if you love art and writing, I hope you’ll join me!

Our Weekly Rhythm

Emails with prompts will go out on Sundays beginning on Sept 22nd!

Weekly emails will include ways to connect to your inner creative self through ritual, poetry, art, and reflection.

We will have a private chat for sharing our work with each other, getting encouragement and feedback, and general merry-making.

Zoom call on Sept 22nd and Oct 27th to open and close our time together!
