I, too, have a terrible memory, and also aphantasia. And like you, I realized one day that this is why I so often experience the world through a viewfinder. It’s not about performance, it’s just a different kind of presence.

I’ve always wanted to journal regularly for this reason, but I haven’t yet been able to build a strong enough habit to make it stick. This year, I’m hoping to use my planner to plan the week, but also in reverse, to remember my days.
