“It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.”
― Rainer Maria Rilke
Dappled Light and Wildflowers
Winter quiets the world, but spring calls us back into motion—into the tender work of beginning again. Seeds of Poetry is an 8-week journey into the creative rhythms of the season, offering you space to plant new ideas, nurture fresh language, and grow your writing practice with intention.
This program is designed for writers, poets, and seekers who feel the stirrings of something new but need a gentle structure to bring it to life. Through a series of themed newsletters and live community calls, you’ll be guided through spring’s unfolding—its awakenings, its uncertainties, its wild, green momentum.
What’s Included:
8 Weekly Newsletters 🌿 – Each week, you'll receive a beautifully crafted letter exploring spring’s themes through poetry, creative prompts, and reflections on seasonal rhythms.
4 Live Zoom Calls 🌸 – Twice a month, we’ll gather as a community to write, share, and deepen our connection. These sessions will be generative, spacious, and open to all paid Earth & Verse subscribers.
Private chat space to share our work with one another.
A Creative Companion for the Season ☀️ – This is not a course with homework or pressure; it’s an offering of inspiration and momentum for your writing life, designed to move at the pace of spring itself.
Creative Resistance and Collective Care
The world feels heavy, and the future is uncertain. In times like these, creativity is more than a practice—it’s a form of resistance, a way of witnessing, and a means of staying present. Creativity is how we remember our humanity, how we nourish ourselves for the long work of justice, and how we stay connected to something larger than fear.
Seeds of Poetry isn’t just about writing; it’s about tending to what is alive in you, even in difficult times. It’s about staying in community, keeping the channels of creativity open, and making space for both grief and joy.
Who This Is For:
Writers and poets craving a container for their creativity
Nature lovers who want to weave the wild rhythms of spring into their work
Anyone who wants to shake off winter’s stagnation and welcome fresh creative energy
Those who long for community

I signed up after you started. Is there anything I need to do to get the info on seeds of poetry now that I'm paid subscriber?
I don't know what I want from this except more of the beauty that I've come to appreciate about you, Alix. Finding you feels like finding my own feet, discovering my own reflection, and then realizing that they can be put together to move in unexpected ways. You're an inspiration and I look so forward to whatever you have in store for us. Thank you for all this effort!!
