Welcome to Earth and Verse!

Hi! I’m Alix Klingenberg, a poet, photographer, and Earth-centered spiritual director! And this is my little corner of one of my favorite parts of the Internet. Earth and Verse is a place where I hope to let myself be myself, messy, introspective, creative, and multi-passionate.

I am interested in how things connect across multiple fields; psychology, religion, myth, poetry, visual art, and imagination.  But also, politics, justice, anti-racism, and community.  For years, I have believed the need to “niche-down” in order to build a brand, but I don’t know about any of that anymore.

If you are you a shapeshifter, a seeker of knowledge who revels in the beauty of cross-pollination between diverse realms of thought, or if you love flitting from one fascination to another, collecting fragments of wisdom along the way, I hope you’ll join me here.

By subscribing to Earth and Verse, you not only gain access to exclusive content and community but you will keep me from the despair of writing into the void.

While most of my posts are free, your financial contribution helps sustain this creative endeavor, allowing me to dedicate more time and resources to crafting meaningful and thought-provoking content for you. Also you will be helping fund my dream of starting an artist/writer’s retreat!
